Traffic Gridlock: Flooding on southbound lane of Uriah Butler Highway

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) is advising the public of flood waters on the southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway in the vicinity of Monroe Road.

The ODPM in Facebook post said heavy traffic has been reported.

“Traffic Alert: The ODPM wishes to advise the public of flood waters on the southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway in the vicinity of Monroe Road. Heavy traffic has been reported on both the north and southbound lanes.”

It added that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is on site.

The ODPM further advised that persons should proceed with caution and expect delays.
