Sunny intervals interrupted by a medium chance (40%) for intermittent light to moderate showers favouring hilly areas and also southern areas of Trinidad. Nighttime: Mostly clear and cool except for one or two showers brief showery periods.
The remainder of the Lesser Antilles:
Long sunny and breezy periods. There is a low chance (20%) for brisk showers. Nighttime: Mostly clear and cool except for one or two showers brief showery periods.
ROUGH SEAS WOULD PERSIST THROUGHOUT THE CARNIVAL PERIOD.
Sea conditions continue to be rough, with wave heights reaching up to 3.5m along the exposed northern and eastern coastlines, and occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
These conditions are forecast to remain unchanged throughout the Carnival period. However, improvement is expected from late evening on Wednesday 14th February 2018 into Thursday 15th February 2018, with wave heights forecast to become less than 3.0m.
SMALL CRAFT OPERATORS, SEA BATHERS AND ALL OTHER MARINE INTERESTS ARE ASKED TO EXERCISE CAUTION IN ALL SEA RELATED ACTIVITIES.
