Where is Shalima Mohammed?
This is the question being asked by the family of the 32-year-old Tabaquite woman who vanished almost a month ago after an argument with a close male relative.
A relative of Mohammed said the mother of two had an argument with another relative and left her home to stay with her mother on December 15.
She spent the night at her mother’s Arima home but could not be found the following morning.
All efforts to contact her have been unsuccessful since then.
The relative said reports were made to the Arima police station as well as the Anti-Kidnapping Bureau but said the reports were not taken seriously.
She said efforts to get Mohammed’s phone records also proved futile.
Mohammed was last seen wearing a blue short pants and white vest.
The missing woman’s family is pleading for anyone with information to come forward and contact police.
