Police find loaded revolver during anti-crime exercise in Claxton Bay

A loaded revolver was discovered by officers of the Central Division Task Force during an anti-crime exercise in the Claxton Bay area.

The exercise was coordinated by acting Snr Supt Inraj Balram between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Wednesday.

During the exercise, officers proceeded to Lodge Road, Claxton Bay near the cell tower where they dug up a plastic bucket containing a Taurus revolver loaded with two rounds of .38mm ammunition wrapped in a plastic bag.


Investigations are continuing.
