The victim, a 26-year-old security guard, parked his dark blue Mazda 6 motor vehicle along the roadway at the front of his San Fernando home on June 21 when he was approached by two men who announced a robbery.

One of the men proceeded to slap the victim and steal an Acer laptop as well as a cellular phone from his possession, before escaping in the victim’s vehicle.

A report was made to the Ste Madeleine Police Station and resulted in Andrews being arrested in connection with the incident during an anti-crime exercise on July 13.
