The accused, Marvin Williams, 36, of Esperance Village, appeared before Magistrate Kerrianne Byer at the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on five charges which stemmed from that incident – including shooting with intent, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life.

The allegations reportedly occurred on June 24, as the woman dropped off the couple’s children at the home.

The man shot at the car, as the woman drove away.

The vehicle sustained damage to the windscreen and bonnet.

Thankfully, the 36-year-old woman was not injured in this incident.

After further submissions to the court, the matter was adjourned.

It is expected to be recalled on September 3.

Bail was set at $175,000, to be approved by a clerk of the peace, on the conditions that the accused make no contact with the virtual complainant (the victim).

More on this as it becomes available.
